Responsibilities

As the Assistant Director of Operations at PRN, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily and long-term operations of a National Property Engineering and Network Repair insurance claims department. In this role, you will guide the department, establishing uniform policies, process and procedures for a variety of situations, such as personal and commercial property damage, carrier onboarding and program implementation and vendor onboarding and rollout for all new programs. While primary duties and responsibilities are mostly in a managerial capacity, you may advise subordinates or take over claims that are particularly complex. You also represent the department and company and ensure that customers and carriers receive excellent service

Job functions include but are not limited to:

* Develop proper standards for the department and document procedures and standards

· Responsible for overall operations management for assigned department(s)

· Establishes policy and procedures to assure compliance to best practices, claims management services standards, state regulations, and client service requirements

· Monitors management reports relating to the employee/office performance

· Assists with the coordination of all operational, sales and client service efforts

· Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations

· Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions

· Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance of all direct reports and other departments as needed

· Performs other duties as assigned

· Supports the organization’s quality program(s)

· Supports the organization CAT efforts as needed

Qualifications and Skills

· Seven (7) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include five (5) years of claims management or supervisory experience

· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred

· CPCU, ARM, AIM, and/or AIC certifications preferred

· Licenses as required

· Strong technical claims knowledge

· Leadership/management/motivational skills

· Strong written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills

· Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong sense of responsibility and demonstrated accountability

· Ability to manage multiple tasks for multiple target dates

· Ability to work effectively with others, as well as independently

· Ability to self-manage with minimal supervision

· Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment

· Strong Microsoft Office experience

· Demonstrated attention to detail

· Experience in ability to resolve unexpected or escalated issues quickly

· Self-driven sense of urgency as needed.

· Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.

Salary: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
